Corey’s Travel Diary | Jackson Hole Wyoming

Corey Lynn Calter shares with us her adventures in Jackson Hole Wyoming during Holiday Break.
One of the perks of the holiday season is school letting out.
Getting a little break from the morning rush, coaxing kids out of bed and trying to get to school on time. We usually start off winter break with our family ski trip. Jackson hole Wyoming has become a home away from home at this time of year. The town square turns into a winter wonderland of twinkle lights, garland and If we’re lucky… snow.
And we did get lucky again this year, decent snow conditions welcomed us back. Here’s my travel diary for Jackson hole.

Teton mountain offers tons of different runs for all levels and great kids ranch.

Visit the Handle Bar at base camp for apres ski, my favorite mulled wine. We love to share the mustache shaped warm pretzels.
Hop on the Start bus and head to Jackson square...

Persehone Bakery & Cafe

I always pick up a few gifts for our chefy friends here too.

Healthy Being Cafe & Juicery

I like to grab a few juices from Healthy Being Cafe & Juicery which is right next door and one of the few juice joints in the area so I stock up on a bunch to take back to the village.

Lily & Co

Last min shopping time Lily & Co for lovely gardening ideas and sweet hand made gifts. This year I decided to try some bulbs, maybe I’ll journal how that goes later

PENDLETON

The Pendleton store to dream about owning a log cabin one day
Mountain man toy shop has just simply beautiful knives with the most unique handles I’ve seen. Shaving kits and even tomahawks. There are loads of great dining options in and around Jackson, here are a few. The Blue Lion, Snake river Grill, Gather and many more. End your day saddling up (literally) at the famous Million Dollar Cowboy Bar. Play a round of pool and maybe take in a local band. Remember No Kids allowed, just what   the doctor ordered.
